i absolutely suck at cooking and don’t even work in the industry but this made me gag it’s still mooing

  2. Outside-Speaker-2029

I’d frisbee the plate back through to the kitchen

Check its pulse and maybe find some TXA for it!? It might be revivable!

I like my steaks like this sometimes, but I’d definitely ask them to cook it more. That’s not acceptable if you ordered mid rare.

I’m assuming the whole steak wasn’t like that considering you ate most of it.

Next time cut it down the middle so you can see the center then send it back, it’s hard to make a case when you have 2 bites left

    Not great!

I always like to cut my steak directly down the middle as soon as it’s dropped so I can verify while the server is still at the table. Much easier to get a refire that way. I’d rather eat my sides while I wait for my steak to be cooked properly.

Perfect for me but I don’t order med rare…..

I think you can change your username now

The outside doesn’t remotely look seared. It’s not like rare steak means uncooked, you’d still expect a sear. This is just barely warmed up even in the outside. Not remotely cooked.

Makes you wonder what was happening in the kind of the person doing the alleged cooking.

    Looks gross honestly

Quick, call the vet, we can still save it!

That is my type of steak, extra rare.

Kinda think you got a med rare steak that had a few undercooked bites on the edge and now you’re making a big deal of it. The piece in the photo is more rare but it’s also like 1 oz or less.

That’s a blue if I ever saw one.

  15. Illustrious_Bad_2980

I think your lucky it didn’t kick you in the face when you cut into it

How would you like steak sir?

    Holographic 1st ed. Charizard

    Great choice

  17. Bionic_Ferir

Bro why is every steak place like this these days? You ask for medium rare and you essentially get rare at best.

  18. whiskeytown79

A skilled vet could still save it!

    It’s still mooing

That’s blue. I personally eat my home cooked steaks blue, or order them blue when at quality steak houses. Beef is dense muscle so the outer crust is what needs to be cooked, not the inside. The truly scary stuff (mad cow) can’t be killed at any temp anyway.

That cut is so raw it’s sending me text messages about this dude taking its picture and shit talking them on the internet.

  23. EchoAltruistic6407

It looks yummy!!! But yeah, that isn’t medium for sure, it’s definitely blue.

As a cook I don’t understand clients like -maybe- you: the meat is clearly not of your taste (even tho you ate 90% of it ) somehow instead of sending it back and politely asking and showing why.. you decided to eat it and then probably talk bad about the place.

We are humans and make mistakes and I’m sure almost all places would be more than ok to send you a new one. I don’t understand clients that complain for the sake of complaining instead of actually wanting a solution.

I’m not saying you are like that but this post itches the way
